Public Houses
Bell & Crown/Hare & Hounds, New Road
The pub was the former village stores known as London House. In his will of 1725 Thomas Easin left his wife the inn, then known as the Hare & Hounds which changed it name sometime around 1817. In 1851 William John Hargill was Innkeeper and Brewer. The pub was sold to the Lamb Brewery of Frome in 1919.
