1939 Register
The 1939 Register was a head count of persons taken not serving with the armed forces during WWII, it lists all members of a single household.; Some entries are closed as the person it refers to may still be living. The register was updated and maintained (no new entries added) until the mid 1970’s. The register is a good source of information for birth dates and change of surnames if someone married. The information also lists the persons address and occupation. The file below does not place the persons name within in alphabetical order at present.
