The Parish Church of St. Giles
The church has a very different kind of bell tower, a massive twelfth century structure rising between nave and chancel, its upper part however, being a restoration. Below, the crossing is impressive with a fine carved west arch of the period. There is interesting work of the twelfth/thirteenth century period both inside and outside the church, notably the nave arcade. There is a Norman font and an unusual twelfth century statue of Christ seated on a dragon.
