This establishment doubles as the local shop and post office.

Silver Plough, White Hill, Pitton

Is an 18th century former thatched cottage featuring the original bread ovens and deep well.  At one time it was a brewery with an off-sales license.  It became a fully licensed public house in 1947.  There is a collection of early 19th century china and glass rolling pins on display.
