Parish History

Near Warminster is the one time collegiate church of Heytesbury, a large cruciform building mainly of the thirteenth century.  The choir, now the parish chancel, has the pillars of its arcade embellished with Purbeck marble shafts in the style of Salisbury Cathedral.
