The Ship Inn, off the A30
The Ship Inn is thought to have been built circa 1560 and possesses some original oak beams and low ceilings. The pleasant gardens slope down to the River Nadder, famous for its trout. The water mill nearby is still used to grind corn and the village has the official unusual name of Burcombe Without. The ancient church in the village is of Saxon foundation. For Let or Sale 2020.
