Hall of Fame & Infamy (Updated 18th November 2025)
The Caretaker of this Page is Val Everson who may be contacted with additions to the list via the contact us option on the home page
We hope you enjoy reading a little about the people who became famous for good or bad deeds and who have a strong link with the county. These include actors, singers, historians, authors, courtiers and scientists. The list also includes people from the county who have come to prominence for dubious reasons such as fraud, cheating, murder, theft, treason and miscarriage of justice. Some are from noble backgrounds whereas others started their lives from humble beginnings. As you can see Wiltshire has produced or adopted as its own a wide range of celebrities. Some are household names and others may just ring a bell but one thing they have in common is that they all deserve a mention in our pages and have the Wiltshire connection.
Have a browse through the Hall of Fame Gallery and put a face to the name.
