Wow – how fast as this come around.  Cannot believe it will be 2016 in just a few weeks.

As it is Christmas obviously this is going to be themed around that.

Two items I wish to share with you were from the VAD Hospital at Heywood House, near Westbury during WWI.  Both Items are from 1917 and written by one of the nursing sisters and the other by patients at the hospital.  Christmas at Heywood 1917   and  Christmas in D. Ward

Some further examples of Christmas with a Wiltshire relationship can be find by browsing through the parish pages – a quick search for Christmas in the home page search engine suggests several items although this is not a definitive list.

Finally I would like to wish all our OPCs and Visitors to the Site a very Merry Christmas from the Admin Team.
