This Day in History: 1905-06-24

1905 – Salisbury – REGINALD JOHN WHISTLER, known as REX, artist & theatrical costume and set designer, was born in Eltham, Kent.  Rex spent many years in Salisbury and is commemorated in the Cathedral.  He was a member of a group of like minded artists, writers and poets known as the “Bright Young Things” Set.
