Fittleton – 1976 – Cook MICHAEL PILCH, one of 12 Royal Navy men who lost their lives when their ship H.M.S. Fittleton was involved in an accidental collision and sank on exercise in the North Sea. The ship had been named after the village of Fittleton in Wiltshire.
