2011 – Salisbury – HORATIO JERVIS L. CHAPPLE, student and voluntary worker, was killed on an exploration trip to Svalbard, Norway when a rogue polar bear entered the camp where Horatio was emerging from his tent and was attacked and mauled.  A charity named Horatio’s Garden was set up in his memory at the spinal treatment centre, Salisbury District Hospital
