1910 – Chitterne & Warminster – JOHN WALLIS TITT Mechanical Engineer was born in the village in 1841 and was baptised on the 24th October in the parish church.  He died on the 5th May 1910 in Warminster and is buried in the churchyard of St. John, Boreham
