The Parish Church of St. Michael and All Angels

Under the northern escarpment of Salisbury Plain lies the village of Urchfont.  The parish church of St. Michael and All Angels is notable for its 14th century vaulted chancel.

Buildings and Land

On a pig farm in Acorns Field, Wickham Green, Urchfont, can be found 3 graves supposedly those of plague victims John, Jacob and Humphrey Giddings who all succumbed to the disease in 1644.  The site is not generally open to the public but viewings can be sought by contacting the farm owner.
